On July 27 at approximately 10:40 a.m., the Township of Centre Wellington posted to their social media that Township crews are responding to a “significant” watermain break on St. Andrew Street between Tower Street N and Menzies Lane.
The Township said road access is currently restricted and sidewalks are closed to pedestrians; residents are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Township staff workin on-site said that a specific cause of the break could not be determined at this time.

They said businesses and residents in the area will feel reduced water pressure and temporary interruptions as crews work on repairs.
Letters will reportedly be hand-delivered to notify local properties of service disruptions.
