ELORA -Elora’s Longest BBQ is returning to historic downtown Elora tonight (Tuesday), bringing together food, music, and community for a celebration of Canadian flavours.
The event runs Tuesday, July 28th, from 4 until 10 p.m., with more than 25 local restaurants and drink vendors taking part for Food Day Canada.
Organizers say guests can expect a showcase of Canadian ingredients, farmers, producers, and local culinary talent. Last year’s event welcomed more than 12,000 people, and organizers say this year’s edition will be even bigger.
Admission is free, with food and beverage tickets available online in advance, and a limited number available on-site.
A free shuttle service will also run from Grand River Raceway to the event site, with signs directing guests to the shuttle area.
New this year is the Seafood Bar Experience, adding another feature to the popular summer event.
Guests are also reminded to bring a reusable water bottle. Bottled water won’t be sold on-site, but free refill stations will be available throughout the event.
Elora’s Longest BBQ runs tonight from 4 to 10 p.m. in downtown Elora.
