PUSLINCH: As a result of a Wellington County OPP investigation, a dump truck driver has been charged with operation while impaired, within the Town of Puslinch.
According to a Wellington County OPP press release, police received a public traffic complaint around 1:15 p.m. on Aug. 6, regarding a swerving dump truck fully loaded with gravel; officers were alerted of a dump truck crossing the middle line and nearly running into oncoming traffic near Queen Street.
An OPP investigation has led to Guneet Mavi (27) of Brampton being charged with;
Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus
Police said the driver was issued a 90-day licence suspension and a seven-day vehicle impoundment; the accused is scheduled to appear in Guelph courts on Sept. 18, 2026.
