FERGUS: Wellington County OPP have made an arrest in relation to a recent string of thefts at the LCBO in Fergus.
In a press release OPP said they received a call regarding a suspect repeatedly stealing items on four different occasions in July and August.
According to police the suspect identified and arrested on Aug. 12, at around 5 p.m.
A 32-year-old Fergus resident is now facing four counts of shoplifting for theft under $5000.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Guelph courts on Nov. 3, 2026.
“The Wellington County OPP would like to thank members of the public for their assistance in this investigation,” the press release said.
