ELORA – Voters in Centre Wellington will have a chance to hear directly from the municipality’s mayoral candidates during an upcoming public debate.
The event is scheduled for Wednesday, September 23rd, at the Jefferson Elora Community Centre in Elora.
The debate is being organized by R.E.A.C.H. Wellington, a local community organization focused on the housing and homelessness crisis in rural Centre Wellington.
Five candidates are currently seeking the mayor’s seat: Neil Dunsmore, Stephen Kitras, Kelly Linton, Shawn Watters and Bronwynne Wilton.
Doors open at 6 pm, and the debate gets underway at 6:30 p.m.
The evening will also include an opportunity for members of the public to ask questions, with the event running until 9 p.m.
