GUELPH – Guelph Police are investigating after thieves broke into a home overnight and made off with three vehicles.
Officers were called to a home near Willow Road and Applewood Crescent shortly after 8 a.m. Thursday.
The homeowner told police someone had entered the residence and stolen several items, including a wallet and three sets of vehicle keys.
The stolen vehicles include a Honda Odyssey, a Chevrolet Cruze and a Subaru Impreza.
The Cruze and Impreza were found abandoned nearby and have since been recovered. The Honda was tracked by its onboard GPS system to Etobicoke.
Police also say the stolen credit cards were used to make several purchases.
The investigation remains ongoing.
