GUELPH/ERAMOSA – The Special Investigations Unit (SIU), is investigating after a vehicle that police attempted to stop was later involved in a single-vehicle crash in Guelph/Eramosa Township.
Wellington County OPP say the incident happened shortly before 4am Sunday morning.
Police say quote “the vehicle failed to stop, and officers disengaged.”
A short time later, the vehicle was located after a single-vehicle collision.
OPP say one occupant was transported to hospital.
The OPP notified the SIU, which invoked its mandate.
As a result, the OPP will not be able to provide further information.
