EDEN MILLS – A Burlington resident is facing several charges following a single-vehicle collision in Eden Mills.
Wellington County OPP responded to a report of a vehicle that had struck a hydro pole on Memorial Street at around 10:30 p.m. Monday.
Police say quote “A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of open containers of liquor.”
As a result, a 24-year-old from Burlington has been charged with dangerous operation, operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 or more, driving a motor vehicle with liquor readily available, and driving as a novice driver with a blood alcohol concentration above zero.
The individual is scheduled to appear in a Guelph court in November.
