FERGUS – The Township of Centre Wellington is inviting people who have recently moved to the community to take part in its second New Resident Reception.
The event is designed to help new residents in Fergus, Elora, Salem and Belwood get settled, learn more about the community and make new connections.
The New Resident Reception takes place Tuesday, October 6th, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex in Fergus.
Attendees will have the opportunity to:
- Learn about recreation programs, parks, facilities, trails and community events.
- Discover local businesses, services, organizations and the upcoming Volunteer Fair.
- Speak with Township representatives and learn more about municipal services.
- Meet other new residents and begin building connections within the community.

The Township says the event is intended to create a welcoming environment and help new residents develop a stronger sense of belonging in Centre Wellington.
