PUSLINCH – Police are asking for the public’s help as they investigate the discovery of a deceased person inside a vehicle in Puslinch Township.
Wellington County OPP responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Wellington Road 32 around 7:30 Monday morning.
Officers arrived and found one person deceased inside the vehicle.
Police say, “Preliminary information suggests this is an isolated incident with no indication of a broader threat. The investigation remains ongoing and police continue to actively monitor the situation.”
Wellington Road 32 remains closed between Forestell Road and Concession Road 4, and the closure is expected to remain in place for an extended period. There is currently no estimated reopening time.
The OPP Crime Unit is investigating alongside the Office of the Chief Coroner and Ontario Forensic Pathology Service, with assistance from OPP Forensic Identification Services.
Investigators are asking residents, businesses and anyone who was in the area between 9 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 a.m. Monday to check surveillance or dashcam footage for any suspicious vehicles or activity.
