WELLINGTON NORTH – A Mount Forest resident is facing charges following a reported disturbance at a residence late Friday night.
Wellington County OPP and local EMS responded to the home around 11:15 p.m. on September 25th.
Police say one person was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Following the investigation, a 53-year-old Mount Forest resident was charged with spousal assault and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice.
Police are not releasing the accused’s name in order to protect the identity of the victim or victims.
