MOUNT FOREST – Wellington County OPP are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying a suspect connected to a shoplifting incident in Mount Forest.
According to police, officers responded to a report of an “after-the-fact” theft at Shoppers Drug Mart on Main Street North in Mount Forest at around 8:30 p.m., on Oct. 18.
Police said on Oct. 18 at around 7:30 p.m., an unknown individual entered the store and concealed roughly $2,700 worth of merchandise then left without any sort of attempt to pay for the haul.
Suspect is described as:
- Male
- Caucasian
- Approximately 40 years of age
- Short dark hair – balding
- Beard
- Wearing a black Nike branded t-shirt, flannel, blue puffer vest, black pants, black and white sneakers, and glasses
- Tattoo on arm extending onto left hand
