Centre Wellington Fire and Rescue have welcomed their new Deputy Fire Chief of Prevention and Public Education to the ranks.
Jason Benn officially took over on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.
Benn spent five years at the North Perth Fire Service as the Assistant Fire Chief.
He says he has always had an interest in the Centre Wellington area.
Benn says he has several projects he would like to dive into.
He says the department has made him feel very welcomed in the new role.
