FERGUS – Centre Wellington Fire Rescue responded to a possible structure fire at a home in Fergus early Sunday morning.
Fergus and Elora Firefighters were called around 4am to an address on Rea Drive.
Centre Wellington Deputy Fire Chief Jonathan Karn said in a post to social media” Neighbours noticed smoke coming from the roof of a townhouse complex minutes after strong t-storms rolled through Fergus,”.
Karn said they found fire in the attic.
He said all occupants were evacuated, and the fire was put out.
Investigation as to the cause is underway.
