NEWS RELEASE WELLINGTON COUNTY OPP
(TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) – On March 11, 2022, members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police, Community Street Crime Unit (OPP) executed a search warrant at a residence on Flannery Drive, Fergus. OPP entered the home and seized a quantity of drugs, drug trafficking equipment and currency.
As a result of the investigation Donavan D. WATT, 40-years-old of Fergus and Christine Therese CUSHING, 43-years-old of Elora, have been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Schedule III, Possession of an Opioid (not Heroin), Possession of Schedule I (Other) and Possession of Methamphetamine. Both are scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice – Guelph.
