A Fergus man suffered serious injuries following a collision on Saturday morning.
Guelph police say at approximately 5:40 a.m., the 35-year-old was travelling westbound on Wellington Street West when he collided with an SUV that was leaving a commercial plaza.
The motorcyclist was transported to a Hamilton trauma centre with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Wellington Street West was closed for several hours as police investigated.
The driver of the SUV, a 43-year-old Guelph male, was charged with careless driving causing bodily harm.
