Elementary students in the Upper Grand School board will be able to take advantage of a remote learning option in the next school year.
Registration for the remote learning program opened today, and will remain open until June 10th.
In a statement the board says while it believes in person learning best supports students, it recognizes some familie may, because of their unique circumstances want their child to learn removely.
The board also cautions any decision made on a learning option will be in place for the full school year It says switching between learning modes can cause a lot of disruption.
Families should be aware that there will be some differences in remote learning in 2022-23 compared to what the board was able to offer in the past two school years. For instance, with more students expected to return to in-person learning, the ability to offer a similar breadth of remote programming may be limited.
