WELLINGTON COUNTY – Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington is holding their annual Shredding Event this Saturday from 9am-1pm at 201 Woodlawn Road West (Skyjack parking lot) in Guelph.
The event is to help prevent identity theft and allows personal and or business documents professionally shredded.
Sarah Bowers-Peter Crime Stoppers Program Coordinator says this event will be setup in a drive thru format.
Bowers-PeterĀ says they accept any kind of documents that include bank information, Social Insurance Numbers or other key government issued information.
Whether it is personal shredding or for small businesses, documents will be professionally destroyed on site.
The cost is $5 per banker’s box, Cash, debit, or credit will be accepted.
Bowers-Peter says all funds raised from this event will go to support Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington.
