Centre Wellington council passed a bylaw that will see changes to the two areas of the township zoning bylaw.
Brett Salmon, Managing Director of Planning and Development, says changes to the highway commercial zones will now allow residential development above commercial units.
He says the bylaw also sees amendments in the agricultural zone provisions to allow for properties in the agricultural zone to run a second business from their farm.
Council unanimously approved the bylaw at Tuesday’s council meeting, the last meeting of this council before the October 24 municipal election.
