Frisbee enthusiasts rejoice, as disc golf may soon be making its way to Centre Wellington!
James Scott will be speaking to council today, hoping the township and parks and recreation department will explore the feasibility of building a 9-hole course for the fun-filled summer pastime.
According to the previously submitted delegation form, the activity would bring community pride, and be inexpensive when compared to a tennis or basketball court.
Scott has purchased a $4000 set of baskets and 100 discs and currently operates a pop-up course in the summer at Elora Public School.
He added there is no better bang for your buck in passive recreation than disc golf and he aims to bring the good times to the area soon.
