The Information, Heritage, and Seniors Committee in Wellington County is awaiting the official ribbon-cutting of a new playground on the grounds of the Wellington County Museum and Archives.
Set for May 13th, the ceremony will debut a playground that Mary Lloyd, Ward 5 councilor, says is accessible to all.
As well, the committee is offering the chance of a lifetime to local seniors.
Lloyd reported to council today, and mentioned a recent award gifted to the committee allows them to make their day.
She complimented the program and noted the playground has a replica colour of the next-door heritage barn.
