FERGUS – The South Wellington Lions Club is hosting a trade show this weekend on the grounds of the Centre Wellington Sportsplex.
‘Trade Tracks’, an outdoor free event will be held this Friday (from 10am to 8pm) and Saturday (10am to 4pm) to show the opportunities of a career in trades work.
Carl Gray, President, of the South Wellington Community Lions Club says they will have over 30 exhibitors participating from all directions of the trades, including auto mechanics, plumbers, electricians, and more.
Gray says Friday will focus on students attending through the local school boards, which will see between 500 and 700 high school students attending.
The event will be open to the general public on Saturday and will include a Chicken BBQ Dinner 3pm to 6pm.
A food truck will also be available outdoors operated by the Rockwood Lions Club.
