Mount Forest may be saying goodbye to the fall fair following the disbandment of the Mount Forest Agricultural Society.
The decision does leaves the door open for someone else to step up and keep the fair running.
In a letter to Wellington North Township, the society stated after failing to see an increase in volunteer interest while advertising, they have decided to dissolve.
They would like to donate the buildings on the fairgrounds to the township, hoping it can continue to be used for community events.
