WELLINGTON COUNTY – The Victoria Day long weekend is upon us.
The holiday Monday means many businesses and services will be shut down.
Here is what is closed on Victoria Monday.
General locations Closed on Monday, May 22nd:
- Banks
- Government Offices
- Most major Grocery Store chains will be closed, but some select locations will be open on Monday. Check with your local grocer for hours of operation.
- LCBO locations
- Select Beer Store locations will remain open
- Stone Road Mall in Guelph
- Conestoga Mall in Waterloo
Closed on Monday, May 22nd in Centre Wellington:
- Township offices
- Centre Wellington Sportsplex
- Elora Community Centre (closed for renovation)
- Victoria Park Senior Centre
OPEN on Monday, May 22nd in Centre Wellington:
- Elora Fergus Tourism Office will be OPEN 10am-5pm
Closed on Monday, May 22nd in Wellington County:
- All County of Wellington Offices
- Wellington County Museum and Archives
- County Waste Facilities
- Tree Nurseries
- Libraries
- All Wellington County Directly Operated Child Care Centres and the Home Child Care Office
- Ride Well Transit Service will not be operating
