Thursday will see the debut of the Ontario Soil and Crop Improvement Association’s Ag Innovation Spotlight event.
The inaugural event will be at the Grand River Raceway in Elora with several educational workshops on innovations in farming, and Q-and-A’s will be offered with experts within agriculture.
Alan Kruszel, an Ontario Soil and Crop Improvement Association board member, was quick to share what Wellington County offers in terms of agriculture.
The event will showcase advancements in farming that Kruszel says have revolutionized the field.
Kruszel stated manure management has been a focus in Wellington County and abroad.
The event runs from 5-8 p.m. and will feature a barbecue to kick things off.
