Wellington County OPP are advising residents to use caution when using local parks after they were called to investigate a mischief that occurred sometime overnight at a park on Churchill Crescent East in Fergus.

On July 20th, OPP responded to a report that several pieces of broken glass and pottery had been found buried in the sand.
The park will be closed for several hours as township park staff ensure that all hazards have been removed and that the park is safe to use.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information regarding this incident should contact Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
