ELORA – A classic Shakespeare play will be finishing off its Elora run this weekend, this time in a brand-new venue.
Twelfth Night cast will have a busy weekend with four shows taking place Friday through Sunday.
This show is the first to grace this particular stage, which Deb Stanson, Director and President of the Elora Community Theatre and the Twelfth Night production, has nothing but great reviews of.
That’s not the only debut for the play, as it is the first of Director Deb Stanson’s plays to feature a full orchestra.
The play, centred around shipwrecked siblings and themes of love and drama, will feature a little bit of everything, including comedy and singing, according to Stanson.
Stanson says Elora is her passion, and she feels very fortunate to have a play on the new stage.
She added there’s something special about performing outdoors, and her and the cast have really enjoyed the experience thus far.
Stanson says the dedication of fans has been amazing, as they even stuck it out through some rain during Sunday’s performance.
Tickets and show times are available on the Elora Centre for the Arts website, or pay cash at the door.
