PUSLINCH – Puslinch council reviewed a report yesterday that gave an in-depth look at their roadways.
Councillor Sara Bailey for one thought the proverbial lines were rather blurred when it came to identifying the distinct purpose of local roads.
Bailey said for example, she’d like to be able to tell residents the purpose of Maltby Road but doesn’t have an answer right now.
Responding to Bailey, Director of Public Works Mike Fowler made a point that Puslinch may be a part of something bigger than just itself.
It just needs to be said out loud and established, Bailey said, referring to a proper designation for roadways.
Fowler said the 401 is closed up to 2-3 times a week and adds to the commuter network feel on Puslinch roads.
The issue will be revisited with an updated draft in front of council in September.
