DRAYTON – A popular Harriston native is making his return to Drayton in a local theatre production.
Neil Aitchison is well known as an MC, construction executive, former on-air radio personality, and more according to his slew of online bios.
The local has come back home to perform in Drayton as a part of Sh-Boom! Life Could be a Dream.
He says it’s always great to be home, specifically in the realm of theatre, which he feels unites audience members.
The play runs until September 3rd in Drayton, where Aitchison says it’s always special to perform.
The production tells the story of Aitchison’s character, DJ “Bullseye” Miller, recruiting young hopefuls to sign up for a chance to win a year-long recording contract.
Beyond his local ties, Aitchison explained he has much respect for Drayton Entertainment, for being creative enough to survive the pandemic and thrive coming out of it, becoming a model for theatre companies across the country.
