ELORA – A local church is seeking renovations to its property.
St. John’s Anglican Church in Elora will be asking council on Monday in Centre Wellington for a connection between the existing church building and the nearby building used as the church’s administrative office.
A report states the proposed addition would facilitate a new accessible entry point fronting onto Henderson Street.
It would include an accessible entrance and associated lobby, new multipurpose space, a kitchen, new accessible washroom facilities, and storage room.
The report also says the alterations are likely to impact the heritage attributes and the work will be visible from the street.
Therefore, council approval is required and will be sought out at the meeting in Elora.
