PALMERSTON – Over 1,500 poppies have been installed in Palmerston.
In honour of Remembrance Day coming up, the Poppy Art Project has been installed on the Old 81 Train Engine.
According to “All Aboard Palmerston” more than 80 community members crocheted the poppies.
“The overwhelming response to this project has warmed our hearts, and we extend our deepest gratitude to every talented crocheted and the AAP Beautification Committee for their outstanding contributions,” the organization said in post to social media.
An official unveiling will be held on November 3rd, at 11 amĀ at the Old 81 Train.
