ELORA – East Mill in Elora is set to reopen today following nearly 8 months of construction.
The road closed to traffic in April for the first of two phases of the reconstruction project.
Colin Baker, the townships Managing Director of Infrastructure Services says crews are wrapping up the first phase today, with final preparations to reopen the road to traffic.
Baker says the first phase included a lot of improvements.
Phase 2 is scheduled for later next year, which Baker says will include finishing up with concrete sidewalks and the rest of the streetscape.
He says East Mill will reopen before the end of the day.
