CENTRE WELLINGTON – While 31 applications were received for community impact grants in Centre Wellington, the recommendation from staff is to fulfill 28 of them.
The requests totaled $288,186.
A report stated discussions were had about tactics to set small groups up for success, how the township’s Community Resource Centre could support events and where organizations could share resources or collaborate more.
There were also discussions about reducing support to fit the available funding.
The Fergus Agricultural Society, Elora Centre for the Arts and Ennotville Library are currently set to receive the most funding.
The report will come to the Healthy Communities Advisory Committee on Wednesday.
