This increase is equivalent to a $46 tax levy increase on the “median/typical single family home,” according to the budget package.
The blended increase, factoring in the County of Wellington’s 4.6 per cent jump, equals out to 3.81 per cent, and $233 on the median family home. The increase of 4.1 per cent stayed stagnant from talks in January.
This hike follows an increase of 4.5 per cent in 2023.
Public engagement results are included in the budget package after the township called for feedback back in December of 2023.
