PUSLINCH – New webinars from the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada are designed to discuss a perpetuating issue, the myths and negative ideas about what donkeys really are.
‘Why Donkeys?’ run by Kayla Johnson, the Puslinch sanctuary’s donkey welfare and education manager, kicked off last weekend but still has open slots.
Johnson says the name of the series was chosen with intent.
Johnson detailed while progress has been made, there’s more work to be done.
The first webinar she says had 75 attendees and great engagement.
Johnson says people know who the sanctuary are, and what they do, but not necessarily why they do it. She added the webinars, which tie into a new three-year plan for the sanctuary, have a broad target audience.
