CENTRE WELLINGTON – A new art show is coming to the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex in Fergus.
Arranged by the Elora Fergus Arts Council – Art in Public Places Program Committee, the art teachers and students at Centre Wellington District High School will have a show of their works on display at the CW Sportsplex in Boardroom A.
“Art teachers Jennifer Main and Bobbi Bentham-Reynolds set the theme of ‘Challenge’ and art students from Grade 9 thru Grade 12 used that as their inspiration. Each piece is unique based on how the student chose to interpret the theme,” a media release said.
The Elora Fergus Arts Council invites members of the community to join them for an opening talk on Thursday, February 22nd from 4-6 at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex, Boardroom A, 550 Belsyde Ave East, Fergus.
The show runs from February 14 to April 30th.
