FERGUS – Minor injuries were reported following a collision Friday morning in Fergus.
At around 8:36am, Wellington County OPP, Centre Wellington Fire Rescue and Guelph Wellington Paramedic Services received a report of a three vehicle collision at the intersection of Gartshore Street and Forfar Street East.
Centre Wellington Deputy Fire Chief Jonathan Karn tells The Grand at 101 that there were minor injuries with a driver of one of the vehicles transported to hospital as a precaution.
Karn says Gartshore Street was closed from Garafraxa to Forfar Street for about an hour for clean up and waiting for tow’s to arrive, but has since reopened.
