WELLINGTON COUNTY – The Wellington County Social Services Committee will be seeing more say from Guelph city council following the approval of a restructuring at a council meeting Thursday morning.
Mayor Cam Guthrie and three members of Guelph city council will join four members of the county’s council on the newly shuffled committee.
Warden Andy Lennox, councillor Campbell Cork and councillor Matthew Bulmer will be alongside chair David Anderson on the committee that will begin to operate with the new staff body as of April 1st.
Lennox informed council that councillor Gregg Davidson will be stepping down, giving him time to focus on his happenings within the Federation of Canadian Municipalities Board of Directors.
