ELORA – The Grand River Raceway will have a new raceway manager for the 2024 season.
They say they are thrilled to welcome Jenna MacDonell to the role.
A news release goes on to say MacDonell has five years experience in various roles at Woodbine Entertainment, including customer service and communication jobs.
Beyond these accolades MacDonell boasts a successful real-estate career.
The raceway added in the release these bits of experience make her an “asset” to their team.
“I am honoured to assume the position of Raceway Manager at Grand River Raceway, succeeding esteemed predecessors like Dr. Ted Clarke, Jamie Martin, and Chad Rozema,” said MacDonell.
“This year marks a significant milestone with the unveiling of GRR’s new 5/8-mile track. I am eager to bring my passion for the sport alongside my professional experience to what is sure to be an incredible season of racing for our guests and participants,” she added.
Staff say they look forward to her leadership and energy as they move towards the new season.
Opening night at the raceway is set for June 5th.
