CENTRE WELLINGTON – A report going before Centre Wellington Council Monday includes councils remuneration for 2023.
Council remuneration and expenses totaled $219,418.40 last year.
Mayor Shawn Watters received a base salary of $47,286.98 last year, plus meetings of $3,815, and expenses of $224.18, for a total of $51,326.16. Watters also made $9,708.48 for his with Centre Wellington Hydro, and $2,567.28 with the Grand River Conservation Authority.
Councillors made $23,716, not including meetings or expenses.
The councillors remuneration and expenses in 2023 include:
- Barbara Lustgarten-Evoy made $29,395.05, with $1,840 in meetings, and $3,838.89 in expenses.
- Bronwynne Wilton made $26,639.71, with $2,923.55 in expenses, and no meetings.
- Denis Craddock made $26,635.92, with $2,919.76 in expeenses, and no meetings.
- Jennifer Adams made $25,611.34, with $1,840 in meetings, and $55.18 in expenses.
- Kim Jefferson made $29,987.75, with $3,395 in meetings, and $2,876.59 in expenses.
- Lisa MacDonald made $29,822.47, with $1,690 in meetings, and $4,416.31 in expenses.
