Jim Dandy of the Optimist Club of Centre Wellington told The Grand At 101 that Saturday’s Bottle Drive they and the Fergus Legion did will bring in an estimated $7000.00 for the Centre-Wellington Food Bank. Dandy said “The response was beyond my wildest expectations. The 45 foot trailer was filled to the top at the front tapering to waist high at the rear. There were plenty of enthusiastic volunteers from both the Legion and the Optimist club – Please thank your listeners for their donations. We will make a final announcement when we know how much has been raised.
