ERIN – A report going before Erin Council tomorrow includes a recommendation to award a tender for renovations to the Erin Community Centre.
Staff recommend awarding the contract to CPM Construction in the amount of $2.9 million.
According to the report, the project will include upgrades to the Erin Community Centre such as; HVAC, electrical, fire system and roofing upgrades, revitalization of the main lobby, snack bar and Shamrock room, as well as the addition of a generator.
Staff says the addition of the generator will allow the Erin Community Centre to be identified as an Emergency Centre, should the need arise.
The project will take place over the course of the next year, with work being completed in 2024 as well as 2025.
Council will consider the report at tomorrow’s 3pm meeting.
