BELWOOD – The Belwood Lions Club held its 42nd Annual Pike and Walleye Derby over the weekend.
Despite some rain, the event saw great attendance and raised $10,000 to fund a new 10mm Telescope for our Surgical Services at Groves Hospital.
“We are so thankful to the Belwood Lions for their ongoing support of vital equipment needs at Groves,” the hospital said in a post to social media.
The Belwood Lions have been donating for 20 years now and have given $60,000 in total.
