CENTRE WELLINGTON – The Township of Centre Wellington says parking enforcement in Downtown Fergus and Elora will return starting tomorrow (Wednesday, May 29th).
Earlier this month Centre Wellington Council approved changes to its parking strategy to include:
- Geddes St (Elora) – north of Colborne (1 new 15 minute parking)
- St. Andrew St W (Fergus) – west of St. David St (1 new 15 minute parking)
- St. Andrew St W (Fergus) – Tower St to Breadalbane St (3 hour limit)
- St. Patrick St W (Fergus) – St. David St N to Tower St N (3 hour limit)
3-hour time limit parking is only in downtown Fergus and Elora, and not on all streets in Centre Wellington.
The township says to ensure compliance with parking rules and regulations, enforcement officers will be actively monitoring designated parking areas.
