There’s a full slate of activities to celebrate Canada Day in Mapleton.
Recreation Manager Amy Grose told Mapleton Council on Tuesday that the event will include lots of family friendly activities including four food trucks, bouncy castles, face painting, balloon animals, Touch-A-Truck featuring Mapleton trucks and equipment and the Rotary Car Show.
The festivities will coincide with the monthly farmers’ market and there will also be live music by the Moore Band. Fireworks will begin at dusk. The event starts at 4 p.m. on July 1st in the municipal parking lot on the main street in Drayton.
