NEWS RELEASE WELLINGTON COUNTY OPP
(TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH, ON) – On June 9, 2024, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a serious, motor vehicle collision on Sideroad 10 E, north of Arthur. Initial reports indicated that a grey hatch-back had left the roadway and the two occupants were injured.
Members of the Wellington North Fire Service and Guelph Wellington Paramedics Service responded. The two occupants, both 19-years-old from Wellington North, were transported to a trauma centre with serious injuries.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation and the roadway remains closed for investigators. Anyone with information related to this collision is asked to call 1-888-310-1122.
