GUELPH – Guelph Police is investigating after a man in a vehicle approached a young girl Wednesday evening.
Just after 7:30 p.m., police were called to an address near Simmonds Drive and Inverness Drive.
Police say the investigation revealed a seven-year-old girl was playing at Wilson Farm Park when she decided to walk the short distance to her home.
“As she walked, a male drove beside her and the driver leaned over to open the passenger door. The girl became scared and ran home,” police said in a news release.
The male was described as white, 50 to 60 years of age, bald, clean-shaven, and driving a black midsized car.
