NEWS RELEASE WELLINGTON COUNTY OPP
(MINTO, ON) On October 12, 2024, at approximately 8:00 p.m., Wellington County OPP attended a collision involving an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) and a parked motor vehicle on Queen Street South, Harriston.
As a result of the investigation, a 29-year-old of Harriston, was charged with:
- Operation While Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs contrary to the Criminal Code
- Operation While Impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus) contrary to the Criminal Code
- Dangerous Operation contrary to the Criminal Code
- Operation While under Suspension contrary to the Criminal Code
- Driving While under Suspension contrary to the Highway Traffic Act x 2
- Fail to Remain contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
No injuries were reported as a result of the collision.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice – Guelph, at a later date.
