Fergus Teacher Has Head Shaved After Students Raise Over $8,000 for its Terry Fox Campaign

FERGUS – A teacher at St. Joseph Catholic School in Fergus had her head shaved on Tuesday after the school community raised $8,257 for their Terry Fox campaign.

In a post to social media, the Wellington Catholic School Board said that since the school had well surpassed its goal of $5,800, teacher Pam Pegelo had her head shaved by Amber O’Rourke, a parent and local hairdresser.

The school’s principal, vice principal, and additional staff members also had students pie them in the face to celebrate the great work of staff and students.

The school board says donations came through from kids going door to door in the community, family, and friends.
