NEWS RELEASE WELLINGTON COUNTY OPP
(MINTO, ON) The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charge a local resident with assault with a weapon stemming from an assault investigation.
On December 18, 2024, at approximately 6:30 p.m. officers from the OPP Wellington County Detachment received a report of an assault at Lions Park, Palmerston.
As a result of the investigation, an 18-year-old from Mapleton, was charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Assault with a Weapon
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice – Guelph, on January 25, 2025.
